The Zonta Club of Gaylord Area has supported Zonta International and the local community for over 35 years.  The club's first service project was spearheading the drive to purchase the "Jaws of Life" for the Gaylord community.  Zonta financially supported training of personnel for Hospice of the North and started "Hospital Book Bags for Literacy".  The gift bags, containing infant books and information stressing the importance of reading to children, are distributed to new mothers at Otsego Memorial Hospital. 

The Zonta Club of Gaylord Area continues to support the Women's Resource Center through scholarships and also offers scholarships to local high school seniors.
